Wow! I have visited Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and never managed to get it empty! You are so so lucky! I always try and aim for photographs of cathedrals et al with no people in them. Most of the time I manage that, and it is due to sheer luck.

Ever tried to use a very very long exposure ? That way .. any people in there which are moving will disappear. Just an idea if you havent tried it yet xxx
