Took this yesterday at the local Bird hide... I only ever seen a pecker from afar or heard it so I was really please that I saw one close up and personal and even managed to capture it with the camera. Not a brilliant picture but I am pleased with it nevertheless. xx

Nice pic, youre very lucky, I hear them and can pin point the area they are in but i'm damned if I can see them!
